By means of "Our Business Is Clean Project" the purpose is to enhance the hygiene capacities of the micro enterprises, which have an annual employment of less than 10 people and whose annual net sales revenue or any of their financial balance do not exceed 3 million TL, and to increase their revenues along with their job satisfaction. The objective is to document the hygiene norms through the certificate to be awarded at the end of the trainings. Disseminating these trainings all over Turkey and making this project sustainable by not limiting it just to the pandemic period are the intended goals.

In this period, when the perceptions of hygiene and cleanliness are changing with the road map that has emerged in this way, basic actions will be taken for the need of the participants to feel comfortable, peaceful and safe in the environments they are in, and contributions will be made to business owners for improvement other than routine measures. After the workshop, training program contents will be established for micro enterprises and trainings will be given to business representatives at Public Education Centers in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Lifelong Learning. MINISTRY OF NATIONAL EDUCATION GENERAL MANAGER OF LIFE LONG LEARNING YUSUF BÜYÜK: WE WILL START A GREAT TRANSFORMATION BY EXPANDING OUR PROJECT THROUGHOUT TURKEY
Speaking at the workshop, Ministry of National Education General Director of Lifelong Learning Yusuf Büyük stated that they acted with the thought that there is no limit to the age of education and said: “The General Directorate of Lifelong Learning is a directorate of the Ministry of National Education that opens up and touches people. Our goal has always been how we can increase the number of people we train, how we can reach more trainees. We have reached the most remote districts of Turkey with 995 Public Education Centers and 24 Maturation Institutes. Together with all our stakeholders, we have come a long way since then in the 'Our Business is Clean Project', which we started on World Hygiene Day in January. In our culture, cleanliness has always been at the forefront. In fact, before the pandemic, we were again washing our hands frequently and offering cologne to our guests. With this project, we will further spread our culture of cleanliness in order to offer a cleaner and better world to the youth and children of this country. I believe that this workshop will yield very good results. I believe that we will start a great transformation by spreading our project all over Turkey.”

In virtue of the Clean Toilet Campaign that we have been conducting since 2000 in order to create a clean and healthy society, we have provided cleanliness and hygiene training to more than 10 million people so far. The pandemic has once again revealed how necessary hygiene is for every environment. We will do great things for this country together with the Our Business is Clean Project, for which we held the workshop today. Every person who will initiate a business in our country should obtain some competency information regarding that business from a certain center. This is what we want to do with the General Directorate of Lifelong Learning, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board and our very valuable teachers in Our Business is Clean Project. I believe that this project will make a significant contribution to the development of our country. We have the power, we have the energy and the greatest thing is the excitement we have. Our Business will be Clean.”
